USOC Gauges Interest In 2024 Games

The United States Olympic Committee on Tuesday sent a letter to mayors of 35 U.S. cities to gauge interest in hosting the 2024 Summer Games. Letters went out to the 25 largest cities in the country as well as 10 others that previously expressed interest. Previous hosts Los Angeles, Atlanta and St. Louis are among the invites. The USOC has another two-and-a-half years to decide whether to submit an official bid for the 2024 Games.
