Sweet 16 Field Set

The Sweet 16 field is set in the men's NCAA Tournament. Half the teams earned their spot on Saturday while eight more picked up wins in the third round on Sunday. Among those moving on are eighth-seeded Kentucky, 11th-seeded Tennessee and top-seeds Arizona and Virginia. The Wildcats clash with fourth-seeded Louisville in a Bluegrass State showdown. Louisville won the regular season matchup 73-66. Also in the Midwest Regional, the Volunteers take on last year's national runner-up Michigan. A win by the Cardinals and the second-seeded Wolverines would set up a title game rematch from last season. Arizona and Virginia blew out Gonzaga and Memphis respectively to advance. Among those ousted Sunday were top-seeded Wichita State and second-seeded Kansas. The Shockers fell to Kentucky and lost for the first time all season. The Sweet 16 starts on Thursday.

If you want to get someone's attention, whisper. That old investment brokerage ad is the opposite of what is going on regarding shootings in Ferguson and Tower Grove. When people threaten violence or blankly label one as a racist, it's very hard to listen. The same holds true for those who sum up the plight of impoverished black communities as "that's how those people are."
