Spartans Take 100th Rose Bowl

Connor Cook threw for 332 yards, two touchdowns and an interception as number-four Michigan State held off number-five Stanford 24-20 in the 100th Rose Bowl Game. Cook connected with Tony Lippett for the game-winning TD with 13:22 left in the contest. The Spartans won their first Rose Bowl since 1988 and finished the season at 13-and-1. Pac-12 champion Stanford closed the year at 11-and-3.
