Sens Slip Past Blues In OT

Cody Ceci made his first career goal memorable, scoring with 1:01 left in overtime to lift the Senators past the Blues 3-2 in Ottawa. Chris Stewart scored twice in a 2:57 span in the second period for the Blues, who had won their previous three. Brian Elliott allowed all three goals on 32 shots in the setback. The Blues are back home tonight to host San Jose.

He's given up seven runs, three earned over 36 innings and his ERA is .736. As a hitter, Spencer's average is .500 with 14 rbi's and 11 runs scored. In 44 official at bats, Spencer has struck out just five times with two walks.

The shootings at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, however, stands out for two main reasons.

It involved race, and it was done it a church.

Washington outscored Elsberry 14-7 Tuesday night at the Elsberry Legion Field. Post 226 grabbed a 6-3 lead after two innings, but Washington rallied back to take the lead with four runs in the fifth. Spencer Juergens had four hits with two runs scored. Gus Kleekamp posted four hits with three runs. Logan Holdmeyer and Mitch Barrow finished with three hits and combined for five runs.
