Senators Out Shoot Blues

The Blues gave up three goals in the third period and lost in a shootout against the visiting Ottawa Senators 5-4. Left winger Jaden Schwartz had two assists while defender Jordan Leopold scored his first goal of the season to send the game to overtime. The Blues move to 37-12-6 and sit two points behind Chicago in the Western Conference. Ottawa climbs to 25-21-11 on the season. St. Louis is back in action tomorrow night against the Boston Bruins.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
