Saffold Returning to Rams

Offensive Tackle Rodger Saffold is reportedly heading back to St. Louis. ESPN reports Saffold will sign a five-year contract with the Rams following a disagreement with his physical condition in Oakland. The Raiders, who reportedly agreed to a five-year, 42.5-million-dollar contract with Saffold Tuesday, are worried about his shoulder. The Rams, however, have no concerns with his shoulder.

The Rams are looking to fill a hole on their offensive line. Guard Chris Williams agreed to a four-year free-agent contract with the Bills. Williams was the Rams' only offensive lineman to start all 16 games last season.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-7 Junior Center Alex Movila from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. He scored a combined 61-points in three games of the Borgia/Pepsi Thanksgiving Tournament last week. Alex led the team in all three games with 21 against Fatima in the first round and 16 in the second round against Carnahan and 24 against North Tech in the Gold Championship game.
