Reds' Bailey Tosses No-Hitter Against Giants

Cincinnati Reds right-hander Homer Bailey has thrown the 280th no-hitter in MLB history. Bailey allowed a walk and struck out nine while recording his second-career no-hitter in a 3-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. He also threw Major League Baseball's last no-hitter on September 28th of last year in a 1-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bailey is the first pitcher to record baseball's last two no-hitters since nolan Ryan did so in 1974 and 1975. It's the 16th no-hitter in Reds' history.
