Rams Trade Up And Down In First Round

The St. Louis Rams pulled off not one, but two trades on the first night of the NFL Draft. First, they traded with Buffalo to move up from 16th to eighth in order to take speedy West Virginia wideout Tavon Austin. St. Louis also got a third-round pick in the deal, while sending the Bills the 16th overall pick as well as a second, third and seventh-rounder this year. The Rams then traded down, dealing the 22nd overall pick and a 2015 seventh-rounder to Atlanta for the 30th overall pick as well as a third and sixth-rounder this year. The Rams used the 30th overall pick to take Georgia linebacker Alec Ogletree.

It involved race, and it was done it a church.

Washington Post 218 improved to 16-1 overall and 11-1 in the 9th district with a doubleheader sweep of O'Fallon Sunday at Ronsick Field. In game one, Washington jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first inning on route to an 11-4 win. Matt Miller made it stand with a complete game three hitter with 13 strike outs and three walks. Justin Baylard doubled twice and Ross Seitter had a pair of singles.
Game two final 7-1.
