Rams Sink Seahawks

Austin Davis threw for 152 yards and two touchdowns to help the Rams sink the Super Bowl champion Seahawks 28-26 from the Edward Jones Dome. Stedman Bailey returned a punt 90 yards for a TD while Tre Mason rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown for St. Louis, which snapped a three-game slide. Benjamin Cunningham and Lance Kendricks each hauled in a TD pass. Russell Wilson tossed for 313 yards and two touchdowns for Seattle, which has lost two straight for the first time since Week Seven and Eight in 2012. He added 106 yards and a score on the ground. Doug Baldwin had a coming out party after the trade of Percy Harvin. He ended with seven catches for 123 yards and a touchdown.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Sullivan Senior Baseball Player Matt Foster. Matt pitched a no hitter against Union in a game at GCS Ballpark in Illinois Friday night. He struck out 13 batters and walked four while throwing 111 pitches. He also had one hit in the game. Matt is also very good with the bat. His .520 average and 14 runs batted in leads the team.

Early Thursday morning, I received news that vandals had broken in to St. Francis Borgia Grade School in Washington, causing extensive damage to several classrooms and offices. School was closed for the day as the Washington Police Department went about their business of securing what had changed from a school community to a crime scene overnight.
