Rams' Jackson To Void Contract

Running back Steven Jackson's career with the St. Louis Rams could be coming to an end. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports the 29-year-old will void the final year of his contract and become a free agent when the new league year starts on March 12th. Jackson is scheduled to make seven-million-dollars for the 2013 season. He has eclipsed the one-thousand yard mark for eight straight seasons and rushed for over 10-thousand yards with 56 touchdowns in his career.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Seth Schenck. The New Haven Junior won the state title in the the 800 meter run at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Seth also took second in the 1600 meter run and anchored the 4X800 relay team that captured seventh place. Seth also played basketball and ran cross country in his junior year at New Haven. He is also a very good student.
