Rams Hit With Injury Bug

The St. Louis Rams have been hit with the injury bug. Nine players did not practice and 10 were listed on the first injury report of Week Three. Among the missing were defensive end Chris Long and cornerback Cortland Finnegan. Right tackle Roger Saffold was also out due to his injured MCL. He is expected to miss two to three weeks. The Rams are at Dallas on Sunday.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Freshman Cross Country Runner Julia McIntyre from New Haven High School. Julia finished sixth in the state meet in Jefferson City with a time of 20:58.40 at the Oak Hills Golf Course in Jefferson City earlier this month. She helped her team to a 12th place finish. Julia was a straight A student at Franklin County R-2 and she continues to get A's in high school.

Andy Dalton tossed three touchdowns, including two to A.J. Green as the Bengals bashed the Rams, 31-7 at Paul Brown Stadium. Dalton hit Green for scores in the first and third quarters, and threw one to Tyler Eifert in the second for the 9-and-2 Bengals. Leon Hall had a 19-yard pick-six as Cincinnati intercepted Nick Foles three times in the win. Foles threw for 228 yards in the Rams' fourth straight loss.
