Rams To Hire Back Gregg Williams As DC

The St. Louis Rams are bringing back a controversial figure to replace fired defensive coordinator Tim Walton. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports the Rams are expected to name Gregg Williams as their new DC. Williams was hired by St. Louis two years ago, but never coached a down because he was suspended by the NFL for his role in the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal. After missing a whole season due to suspension, Williams spent last year with the Tennessee Titans as a defensive consultant.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Taylor Covington with the New Haven Track and Field Team. Taylor earned All-State honors medaling in four events at the state track meet at Lincoln University in Jefferson City Friday and Saturday. She ran anchor on the 4X800 relay team that finished in sixth place.

What will the future hold for the Class of 2015? Time will tell.

My youngest has now graduated from high school. Back in 1980, I was the youngest of my family who graduated.
