Rams Crush Colts In Indy

Rookie Tavon Austin had two touchdown catches and a 98-yard punt return for a score as the Rams crushed the Colts 38-8 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Austin ended with 138 yards receiving and became just the third player in NFL history to post three touchdowns of 55 yards or longer in a single game. Kellen Clemens finished 9-of-16 for 247 yards and the two TD's for St. Louis, which snapped a three-game skid and improved its record to 4-and-6. Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham combined for 134 rushing yards in the victory.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Washington Senior Running Back Jared Rennick. He carried the ball 19 times for 197 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 34-12 win over St. Clair. Jared also wrestles and he is a good student with a 3.0 GPA. His favorite football team other than the Blue Jays is the Missouri Tigers.

It is the aftermath of that event, however, which history will forever remember. The protesters, the looters, the agitators, the Hands Up Don't Shoot movement, the dramatic announcement of the grand jury, the buildings up in flames. In the process, the community and image of Ferguson was destroyed.
