Rams Close Out Draft Selecting CB McGee and RB Stacy

The Rams wrapped up this year's NFL Draft taking Miami cornerback Brandon McGee and Vanderbilt running back Zac Stacy. McGee started all 12 games at defensive back for the Canes, tying for sixth on the team with 54 tackles. Stacy was third in the SEC with over 11-hundred yards rushing as a senior with 10 touchdowns.

Several former Missouri Tigers got picked up in the 2013 draft. Sheldon Richardson went 13th to the Jets and Zaviar Gooden was picked up 97th overall by Tennessee. As far as undrafted free agents, The Patriots took T.J. Moe and Kendial Lawrence went to the Cowboys. Elvis Fisher heads to the Pats, Brad Madison to the Chiefs, Kenronte Walker the Browns, Kip Edwards to the Bills and Jared McGriff-Culver gets a tryout with Oakland.

At the plate, Adam is a switch hitter with an avarage of .315, an on-base percentage of .427 and a slugging percentage of .342.

Ryan Sweeney went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and 4 RBI as the Chicago Cubs hung on to beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-6, in the opener of a three-game set. Luis Valbuena smacked a two-run shot and crossed the plate three times for the Cubs, who handed the Cardinals their fourth straight loss. Kevin Siegrist (1-2) gave up the tie-breaking two-run homer to Valbuena in the seventh and was tagged with the loss.
