The Cardinals begin the final week of the regular season with a three-game series against the Washington Nationals at Busch Stadium. St.
Matt Carpenter homered and scored twice but the Cardinals suffered a 6-4 loss to the Brewers at Miller Park. Joe Kelly was tagged for six runs in seven innings, but only three were earned.
Tony Romo and DeMarco Murray led the Cowboys to a 31-7 victory over the Rams at AT&T Stadium. Sam Bradford threw for 240 yards and a TD for St. Louis, which dropped to 1-and-2 overall.
