NHL, NHLPA Remain At Standstill On Labor Talks

The NHL and its Players' Association have been silent over the last few days as the work stoppage continues. NHLPA special counsel Steve Fehr told ESPN the two sides have not even spoken since Friday, when the league made an attempt to send the lockout to court. Fehr added that it would only take a phone call from the league to get talks to resume.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Seth Schenck. The New Haven Junior won the state title in the the 800 meter run at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Seth also took second in the 1600 meter run and anchored the 4X800 relay team that captured seventh place. Seth also played basketball and ran cross country in his junior year at New Haven. He is also a very good student.
