The Cardinals' John Mozeliak is in Indian Wells, California today for the start of the General Managers Meetings. GM's from all 30 clubs are gathered to discuss potential trades and gauge the free-agent market ahead of next month's Winter Meetings in Nashville.
The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Washington Senior Legion Baseball Player Trent Leimkuehler. Trent has put up some impressive numbers so far this season. The Post 218 Center fielder is currently hitting .551 with 20 runs batted in and 16 runs scored. He has two home runs, two triples and eight doubles. He also plays good defense in the outfield with good speed and a strong arm.
