McCarver To Join St. Louis Walk Of Fame

The St. Louis Walk of Fame will unveil a sidewalk star to honor former Cardinals catcher and current broadcaster Tim McCarver today. McCarver is currently in his first year of calling St. Louis games after spending 17 years as a baseball analyst for FOX. The two-time All Star spent 12 of his 21 seasons with the Cardinals and was apart of their 1964 and '67 World Series teams.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
