LSU Upsets Missouri

Falling behind by 16 points early, Mizzou lost to LSU on Wednesday 73-70. Missouri guard Phil Pressey poured in 25 points in a losing effort. LSU shot 56-percent from the field while Mizzou shot a dismal 38-percent on the night. Missouri falls to 15-5 on the season and 4-3 in the SEC. LSU improves to 11-and-7 overall and 2-5 in conference.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
