Three players hit double figures as Borgia posted a 60-45 win over the Pacific Indians. Jordan Miller hit four three pointers and finished with 20. Zachary Schweissguth added 19 and Casey Kuchem pumped in 12. Pacific sophomore guard Cullen VanLeer was held to 13 points. Both teams are now 9-6.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Washington Senior Legion Baseball Player Trent Leimkuehler. Trent has put up some impressive numbers so far this season. The Post 218 Center fielder is currently hitting .551 with 20 runs batted in and 16 runs scored. He has two home runs, two triples and eight doubles. He also plays good defense in the outfield with good speed and a strong arm.

The Washington Wood Bat Tournament gets underway today. Washington will play two games back to back at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. Manchester is the first opponent at 1:00 followed by a match up with Thoman Boothe at 3:30. Our next broadcast game is Friday evening when Washington plays Dunklin County at 7:30 at Ronsick Field. Post 218 is 12-3 going into the tournament which will run through Sunday evening.
