It will be quiet at the Cardinals' spring training complex today. Although a few pitchers are slated to throw side sessions, manager Mike Matheny is giving most of his players the day off before the Grapefruit League slate begins. The Cards did a "27 outs" defensive drill yesterday. The Cardinals play their first spring game tomorrow. The Cards take on the Miami Marlins in the Grapefruit League opener at 12:05 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium.
