The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Junior Basketball Player Hailey Diestelkamp with the Owensville Dutchgirls. She recently became the all-time scoring leader at Owensville High School surpassing Katie Davis. Hailey played volleyball her first two years of high school, but after suffering an injury playing basketball last summer, she decided to focus on basketball this year. Hailey runs track in the spring.

Paid consultants are going to be used to plan a new St. Louis football stadium. The public board that owns the Edward Jones Dome yesterday approved allowing paid consultants to give input on the open-air stadium. Chairman of the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority Jim Shrewsbury said the group's vote was symbolic and technical.
