Union won the Owensville Tournament with a 17-3 win over New Haven and a 7-1 victory over Owensville

St. James won the Cuba Tournament with a 14-4 win over the host Wildcats.

New Haven took sixth out of 48 teams in the SEMO Classic in Cape Girardeau Friday and Saturday.

Cross Country...
Pacific finished sixth out of 58 schools at the Forest Park Festival. Pacific's Sarah Turner medalled.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Sophomore Baseball Player Drew Reed with the Union Wildcats. Drew is off to a terrific start to the season. In ten official at bats, Drew has an average of .700, seven hits, five singles and two doubles, and leads the team with six runs batted in. Number one position is catcher, but coach Ryan Bailey will also use him as a pitcher.

Union Tournament at Birch Creek. The top three teams were Sullivan with a 334, Owensville with a 341 and Borgia with a 342. Austin Hoerstkamp of Borgia was the medallist with a five over par 77.
Washington competed in the Bogey Hills Invitational, hosted by St. Charles. Low scores for Washington carded by Matt Hoemann and Eric Hasenjaeger, four over par 75's.
