The gamed ended on an interference call when the umpire ruled the batter leaned into a pitch. Brian Trigg had two hits in the game. The Jays played error free ball highlighted by Austin Finder in right field who cut down a runner at the plate in the fourth and made a tremendous diving catch near the fence in the seventh. ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

3 hours 30 min ago

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Union Post 297 Senior American Legion Baseball Player Trey Fink. Earlier this season in a game against St. Peters, Trey pitched a complete game with 11 strike outs and no walks in an 8-1 win. He also went the distance in a tough luck 6-1 loss to Washington. He only gave up four hits with 13 strike outs and one walk. Time and again, Trey has proven his ability to go deep into games.

The shootings at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, however, stands out for two main reasons.

It involved race, and it was done it a church.
