Golf...
Sullivan won the district tournament on their home course, the Sullivan Country Club. West Plains was second and Borgia third. Individuals who qualified for the sectional are the entire Sullivan team: Tyler Carrico, Justin Biermann, Gavin Yociss, Ryan Juergens and Drew Armstrong. Union female golfer Hinako Kishimoto, Borgia's Clayton Voss, Alexander Rennick, Andrew McClure and Parker Dumontier. St. Clair's Kyle Juergens and Matt Gordon. St. James will send three to the next round-Jake Shockley, Jack Mueller and Levi Auxier. Two Pacific Indians qualified-Charlie Brinker and Brendan Jett-Kell.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.

Paul Stastny netted the game-winner with 5:40 to play to give the Blues a 2-1 win over the Oilers at Rexall Place. Dmitrij Jaskin found the back of the net as well and Brian Elliot had 21 saves. The victory was St. Louis's fourth straight on the road. Ben Scrivens gave up both goals on 27 shots for Edmonton, which has dropped five of its last seven. Justin Schultz scored the Oilers' lone goal in the loss.
