The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Baseball Player Spencer Juergens from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Spencer is the Ace of the pitching staff with a 4-0 record. He has given up just one run this season and currently sports an earned run average of .33. Spencer has allowed 11 hits in 21 innings but no extra base hits. He has struck out 16 while walking two for a strike out to walk ratio of 8.1.

Matt Holliday launched a three-run homer and the Cardinals held off the Brewers, 5-3, in Milwaukee. Kolten Wong laced an RBI triple and scored on an error for St. Louis, which will try to sweep the three-game set on Sunday. Adam Wainwright had to leave after injuring his ankle during an at-bat in the fifth inning. Matt Belisle was credited with the win, while Seth Maness earned his first save.
