Class 5 District 10 at Rolla High School....
Boys Semifinals
Luke Schroepfer scored 21 points leading the Washington Blue Jays to a 58-42 win over the Lebanon Yellowjackets. Ronnie Suggs added 17 and Patrick Menke chipped in six as the Jays improved to 18-9. Lebanon was led by Josh Archer with 11 points. The Jackets end the season with a 2-24 record. Washington advances to the championship game Saturday evening to face Waynesville. The Tigers beat Rolla 56-45.
Championship games are scheduled Thursday night.

Class 4 District 9 at Pacific
Girls opening round...
Owensville beat Union 40-37. Rachel Bassett led Union with 15 points. Owensville was paced by Hailey Diestelkamp with 21 points.
Borgia erased a five point halftime deficit and came back to beat St. Clair 54-44.
The Tournament will resume Thursday evening with the boys semifinals.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Seth Schenck. The New Haven Junior won the state title in the the 800 meter run at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. His time of 1:59.20 set a new school record. Seth also took second in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:30.49 and anchored the 4X800 relay team that captured seventh place. Seth also played basketball and ran cross country in his junior year at New Haven.

Lance Lynn tossed six scoreless frames to guide the St. Louis Cardinals to a 7-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the opener of a three-game set. Lynn gave up just two hits and struck out nine to pick up the win. David Freese went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and three RBI and Allen Craig added a pair of hits, including a solo homer, and drove in three for the Cardinals, winners in four of their last five games.
