Borgia 62 DuBourg 51. Joe Helfrich scored 21 and Luke DeLine added 14 for Borgia. The Knights improve to 5-2 in the AAA Conference.

Northwest 72 Hermann 64. Clayton Meyer led the Lions with 16. Hermann's Craig Winkelmann led all scorers with 24.

Sullivan 48 Pacific 41. Pacific was paced by Kya Hill with 14 and Kate Cookson with 11

St. James 66 St. Clair 32. Ashlee Marlatt posted 19 points and nine steals with Devin Fuhring adding 17 points. Sam Deason scored 11 for St. Clair.

Hermann 53 New Haven 43. Jamie Gleeson scored 18 and Karinne Lane 15 for Hermann while New Haven was led by Rachel Steinhoff and Stephanie Gerling with 13 apiece.

St. James leads the Four Rivers Conference standings with a 5-0 record. Sullivan is 4-0 and Hermann is 3-1.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Golfer Brad Carpenter from Washington High School. In a recent match against Fort Zumwalt South at Wolf Hollow, Brad carded a six under par 29 to lead the team to a 148-176 win over the Bulldogs. Brad will attend Missouri State University in Springfield on a golf and academic scholarship. He started playing golf at the age of 12 and developed an immediate love for the game.

I am a woman. I would be more than happy to have more money in my paycheck. Too bad the Paycheck Fairness Act won't do that for me. Who wants "equality" if it comes because everyone makes less money?

Nonetheless, the Paycheck Fairness Act is the latest weapon in the War On Women, part II--2014 election style.
