Local College Sports Update

ECC SOFTBALL: The Softball Falcons are now 7-4 on the season after a double header sweep of region rival, Mineral Area Cardinals, at home on Tuesday by scores of 5-2 and 8-3. This has been one of the best starts to an ECC Softball season despite the weather conditions.

ECC SOCCER & ECC VOLLEYBALL: Both teams are continuing spring practices as coaches are trying to prepare for the coming year. The returning freshmen for next year hope to step into leadership roles vacated by graduating sophomores as each team hopes to improve over last year.

What happened? It's a classic case of two all-too-common phenomena in the world of government--unintended consequences and the revolving door.
