The Duchesne Pioneers swepped a doubleheader from the Borgia Knights 6-1 and 11-10 at Ronsick Field. Borgia drops to 9-4 overall and 1-3 in the AAA while the Pioneers improve to 6-8 and 3-2.
Elsewhere...
The Sullivan Eagles clinched the Four Rivers Conference title with a 8-6 win over the Pacific Indians in eight innings. Sullivan remains unbeaten in league play at 5-0 and 13-4 overall.
St. Clair beat Union 4-3
St. James edged Hermann 2-1
Washington is back on the rails following an 8-5 win over Fort Zumwalt South. The Jays are now 10-6 on the year.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-3 Senior Guard Walton Eckelkamp of the St. Francis Borgia Basketball Team. Walton was the MVP of the Union Tournament last week. He scored 21 points in the championship leading Borgia to a 66-54 win over Columbia Rock Bridge. He hit four three's, dished out four assists and pulled down three rebounds.

The Blues ripped off three goals in the second period as they blitzed the Wild, 4-1 at the Scottrade Center. Vladimir Tarasenko scored his 26th goal of the year to start the scoring, with Jori Lehtera and Paul Stastny each adding goals in the second. Troy Brouwer added a goal in the third for St. Louis. Matt Dumba scored the lone goal for Minnesota, which has lost 10 of its past 11 games.
