District Semifinals...

Class 4-Westminster outscored Sullivan 17-0 in the second half and walked away with a 37-21 victory over the Eagles at Sullivan High School.

Class 3-John Burroughs had no problem with St. James in a 69-0 route at Parkway North.

Class 2-Blair Oaks jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 35-13 over the Hermann Bearcats.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
