Boys Class 4 Quarterfinal...
The season ended for the Borgia Knights with a 57-44 loss to the Republic Tigers at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar Saturday afternoon. Republic senior guard Dylan Bekemeier scored the first seven points for his team and the Tigers never trailed in posting their 25th win of the year against four losses. Cody Geiger scored 18 and Bekemeier finished with 15 as the Tigers advanced to the MSHSAA State Championships next weekend in Columbia. Joe Helfrich capped off his basketball career at Borgia with 15 points followed by sophomore Luke DeLine with 13. Borgia ends the season with a 20-9 record under Coach Dave Neier. Republic advances to state looking for a repeat performance of their title run a year ago.

His record is 6-0, he's given up 10 runs, three earned, for a staff low ERA of .450. Adam has struck out 53 batters while walking 11. At the plate, Adam is a switch hitter with an avarage of .315, an on-base percentage of .427 and a slugging percentage of .342.
