New Haven edged Union 52-49 in double overtime in the KLPW-AM 1220 broadcast game ffrom Union High School. The Shamrocks were led by Kyle Ruediger with 20 points and Seth Schenck with 19. Brian Borgmann scored 11 for Union.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Freshman Cross Country Runner Julia McIntyre from New Haven High School. Julia finished sixth in the state meet in Jefferson City with a time of 20:58.40 at the Oak Hills Golf Course in Jefferson City earlier this month. She helped her team to a 12th place finish. Julia was a straight A student at Franklin County R-2 and she continues to get A's in high school.

Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey is still in an intensive care unit in a Miami hospital. CBS Sports reports Bailey is conscious and aware after being shot twice in the head Tuesday night. Bailey had surgery on Wednesday.
