High School Basketball All Conference Selections

Boys
Five basketball players from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington have been named to the AAA All Conference Team. 6-5 Senior Joe Helfrich is a first team selection. Sophomore's Walton Eckelkamp and Luke DeLine were named to the second team. Eckelkamp was named the Newcomer of the Year.
Honorable Mention-Zac Schweissguth and Adam Meyer

Girls
Janie Arand and Emily Grahl made First Team. Arand was named the Player of the Year.
Megan Jensen-Second Team and Newcomer of the Year
Honorable Mention-Molly Arand, Cassandra Halsted and Kaylee Heggemann
Stacia Parsell was named Coach of the Year.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.

Paul Stastny netted the game-winner with 5:40 to play to give the Blues a 2-1 win over the Oilers at Rexall Place. Dmitrij Jaskin found the back of the net as well and Brian Elliot had 21 saves. The victory was St. Louis's fourth straight on the road. Ben Scrivens gave up both goals on 27 shots for Edmonton, which has dropped five of its last seven. Justin Schultz scored the Oilers' lone goal in the loss.
