Giants' Posey Wins NL MVP Award

San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is the National League's Most Valuable Player. Posey led the majors with a .336 average to go with 24 home runs and 103 RBI as the Giants captured the NL West Division. St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina finished in fourth place in the voting.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.
