Former Mizzou QB Gabbert Named Jags Starter

Former Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert will be the starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars when they open the regular season. First-year head coach Gus Bradley made the announcement Monday. Gabbert had been competing in camp with veteran Chad Henne. Gabbert is going to miss the rest of the preseason with a hairline fracture in his right thumb, but will be under center for the Jags' regular-season opener September 8th against the Kansas City Chiefs.
