Ducks Hold On For Win Over Blues

Anaheim had to hold on for a 3-2 win over St. Louis Saturday at the Scottrade Center in a battle of two of the Western Conference's top teams. The Blues got goals from Barret Jackman and Jaden Schwartz but came up short. Brian Elliott managed 18 stops for the Blues. St. Louis lost for the second straight time at home and fell to 32-10-and-5. The Blues are at Detroit tonight.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Golfer Brad Carpenter from Washington High School. In a recent match against Fort Zumwalt South at Wolf Hollow, Brad carded a six under par 29 to lead the team to a 148-176 win over the Bulldogs. Brad will attend Missouri State University in Springfield on a golf and academic scholarship. He started playing golf at the age of 12 and developed an immediate love for the game.
