Ducks hand Blues rare home loss

What was supposed to be a clash of Western Conference giants was quickly squashed by the Anaheim Ducks. Ryan Getzlaf extended his point streak to 13 games with a goal and an assist, and the Ducks handed the St. Louis Blues their second regulation loss at home with a 5-2 victory Saturday at Scottrade Center. The Ducks (20-7-5) got goals from Andrew Cogliano, Corey Perry and Getzlaf in the opening 7:29. Perry and Getzlaf scored in a 1:53 span to chase Blues goalie Jaroslav Halak. Nick Bonino and Cogliano had a goal and an assist, and rookie Frederik Andersen stopped 26 shots to improve to 8-1-0. The Ducks, who defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in a shootout Friday, are 5-1-2 in their past eight games.

"No Justice, No Peace"

Certainly, there was no peace on the streets of Ferguson on the night the grand jury announced it would not indict police officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Michael Brown.

The images of a city burning were disturbing, saddening and sickening. Every business torched leaves in its wake families who have lost their source of income, and a community that will find it that much harder to rebuild.
