Panthers Storm Past Blues

The Panthers scored five consecutive goals and held on to top the Blues 5-2 at the BB&T Center.  Ian McCoshen, Vincent Trocheck, and Jared McCann each scored to give Florida the lead after two periods.  Aaron Ekblad and Nick Bjugstad added insurance goals in the third.  Roberto Luongo stopped 37-of-39 shots sent his way in the winning effort.  The Panthers have won two straight.  Paul Stastny and Vince Dunn found the back of the net for St. Louis.  Alex Pietrangelo had a pair of assists as the Blues lost for the first time in five games to start the season.
