Travis Wood went six-and-two-thirds innings while allowing one run with eight strikeouts to pick up the win for Chicago, which has won two straight since a four-game slide. Lance Lynn gave up two runs across seven frames with eight strikeouts to fall to 5-and-1. The Cards saw a six-game winning streak end.
