Cards Rally Past Brewers

Carlos Beltran's sac-fly RBI plated the go-ahead run during a four-run eighth inning as the Cardinals rallied to beat the Brewers 5-1 at Busch Stadium. Matt Adams clubbed a two-run homer to cap off the eighth inning for the Redbirds, who have won five in-a-row and remain a game ahead of the Pirates for first place in the NL Central. Lance Lynn struck out 10 while giving up just an unearned run in six innings but did not factor in the decision. Trevor Rosenthal picked up the win in relief.
