Cardinals Topple Reds In 10

Jhonny Peralta hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Cardinals to a 6-5 win over the Reds at Busch Stadium. Peralta also plated a run in the first inning to go along with his three hits. Matt Adams and Matt Holliday chipped in an RBI for St. Louis, which has won five of six. Nick Greenwood picked up the win in relief after Trevor Rosenthal blew his fifth save.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
