Cardinals Rock Cubs In Game Two Of Doubleheader

Matt Holliday hit two dingers and drove in five as the Cards rolled the Cubs in the night cap of a doubleheader at Busch Stadium. Yadier Molina went 3-for-5 with an RBI in the win while Oscar Taveras and Kolten Wong plated a run each. Marco Gonzales won his first career game with six frames of one-run ball as St. Louis snapped a four-game skid. Tsuyoshi Wada was rocked for three earned runs in six frames for the loss. Jorge Soler and Chris Coghlan drove in a run each for the Cubs, who have won two of their last three. Chicago won Game One 5-1.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-7 Junior Center Alex Movila from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. He scored a combined 61-points in three games of the Borgia/Pepsi Thanksgiving Tournament last week. Alex led the team in all three games with 21 against Fatima in the first round and 16 in the second round against Carnahan and 24 against North Tech in the Gold Championship game.
