Cardinals Nip Braves

Adam Wainwright struck out nine in a complete game to pace the Cardinals to a 3-1 win over the Braves in St. Louis. Wainwright allowed the one run as he improved to 15-and-7 on the season. Matt Holliday lifted a solo homer for St. Louis, which has won six-of-seven. Yadier Molina went 3-for-4 with two runs in the win. Freddie Freeman was 2-for-4 with the lone RBI for Atlanta, which has lost three-of-four. Kris Medlen allowed three runs in six-plus innings for the loss.

Mikayla has already accumulated a lost list of accomplishments in the first couple of years of her high school career.
