Cardinals Double Up Red Sox In Game Two

The Cardinals scored three runs in the seventh inning to double up the Red Sox 4-2 in Game Two of the World Series from Fenway Park. Carlos Beltran was 2-for-4 with an insurance RBI a day after exiting Game One with a rib injury. The best-of-seven series is knotted up at 1-1. Michael Wacha improved to 4-and-0 during the postseason after giving up two runs in six innings. Trevor Rosenthal struck out the side in the ninth for the save. St. Louis hosts Game Three on tomorrow night.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Golfer Brad Carpenter from Washington High School. In a recent match against Fort Zumwalt South at Wolf Hollow, Brad carded a six under par 29 to lead the team to a 148-176 win over the Bulldogs. Brad will attend Missouri State University in Springfield on a golf and academic scholarship. He started playing golf at the age of 12 and developed an immediate love for the game.
