Cardinals Clinch NL Central

The St. Louis Cardinals are heading to the postseason as the National League Central champions. The team previously earned a playoff berth but clinched the division for the first time since 2009 with a 7-0 win over the Chicago Cubs at Busch Stadium on Friday night. The Cards lost in the NLCS last season after winning the World Series in 2011. Lance Lynn shut down the Cubs over six innings with nine strikeouts for his 15th win.
