Michael Wacha held the Giants off the board through six innings as the Cardinals blanked the Giants 2-0 at Busch Stadium. Wacha improved to 4-and-3 but left after six frames due to a 51-minute weather delay. Trevor Rosenthal locked down his 16th save for the Cards who snapped a three game skid. Oscar Taveras went deep in his Major League debut and Jhonny Peralta drove in the other run in the win.
