Canucks Clip Blues

Jannik Hansen scored the game-winner midway through the third period as the Canucks clipped the Blues 1-0 in Vancouver. Jaroslav Halak stopped 34 shots in net for the losing side. St. Louis had won two straight dating back before the Olympic break. The Blues skate against the Ducks in Anaheim tomorrow night.

The season is over for the Washington senior legion baseball team. St. Charles held on to beat West 13-12 last night to win the 9th district post-season tournament at Westhoff Park. Washington needed West to win for their season to continue. Post 218 ends the season with a 28-12 record under Manager Mike Gardner. St. Charles, West and Daniel Boone will represent the 9th district in the zone tournament this week.
