Booker Picks Kentucky Over Mizzou

Blue chip basketball recruit Devon Booker selected John Calipari and Kentucky over Frank Haith's Mizzou squad next year. Booker would have been the highest-ranked recruit to play for Haith at Missouri had he picked the Tigers. Booker averaged 29.7 points per game for Moss Point High School as a junior last season and is ranked as the 18th player in the 2014 recruiting class by ESPN.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
