Bolts Double Up Blues

Brett Connolly and Valtteri Filppula each scored a goal in the third period to help the Lightning drop the Blues 4-2 in Tampa. Alex Killorn had a goal and two assists while Steven Stamkos also lit the lamp for Tampa Bay, which improved to 10-and-4. Ben Bishop posted 28 saves in net for the victors. Alex Pietrangelo and Jaden Schwartz both scored for St. Louis, which dropped to 8-2-and-2. Jaroslav Halak made 21 saves in defeat.

The 2014 class is set to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday. Pitchers Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine, first baseman Frank Thomas, and managers Tony la Russa, Bobby Cox and Joe Torre make up this year's class. Sunday's ceremony is at 12:30. Maddux was a four-time NL Cy Young winner with 355 wins for the Cubs, Braves, Dodgers and Padres.
